What will you do in an average week? - Working to your strengths, you will head up the Commercial function and accounts, and be focused on the management, development and growing of a large transacting pipeline of customers for an expansive territory that extends far east and north into the industrial, agricultural and mining sectors.
- Be leveraging your market insights and existing contacts to generate leads and to plot the on-going growth of Commercial Sales.
- Commercialise new business wins through the effective negotiation and management of tenders and contracts as well as account reviews on-going.
- Work effectively with the store team members and your Business Development Support Specialist to manage key activities such as pricing, estimating, account management and stock planning
- Provide ongoing relationship management and a high touch approach to your accounts to ensure that customers continue to build and maintain confidence and trust in you and consistently view Total Tools as their ‘go to’ supplier for all their Commercial needs.
- Be ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and customers are constantly nurtured, responded to and managed with care and efficiency with a high service level.
- Be constantly reviewing processes, tools, activities and systems and making the overriding decision on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance all Commercial Sales opportunities.
Here’s what it will take: - Proven success in a comparable Commercial Sales/Business Development role.
- An affinity with hardware/tools (whether from within your career or due to your personal interests and/or passion for DIY).
- Can 'hit the ground running.’
You have a hunger for sales and smashing targets…and have that eagerness and relentless passion to do the 'leg-work' to make it all happen.
- A proven ability to develop strong partnerships,
and an innate ability to identify new opportunities within new and current accounts.
